Došlo opravdu v Československu ve třicátých a čtyřicátých letech 20. století k častým žádostem o změnu příjmení nebo je to jen domněnka, která není dostatečně podložená? Výzkumem v pardubickém Východočeském státním okresním archivu se našly konkrétní případy takovýchto žádostí o změnu příjmení. Cílem tohoto výzkumu je zjistit, zda se jednalo o rozšířený jev nebo o ojedinělé případy. Kromě hledání takových dokumentů se zkoumání zaměřuje i na lingvistickou analýzu těchto příjmení. eng Changes of German surnames in Pardubice region in the 30´s and the 40´s. The onomastic and linguistic analysis. First results. Heinzel has changed to Hencl and Lyr to Lier. What is behind this? Were there really the frequent requests for a surname change emerged in Czechoslovakia in the 30´s and 40´s of the 20th century or is that only a hypothesis which is not substantiated enough. The particular evidences of such claims of a surname change have been found through the Research in the East Bohemian State District Archives. The aim of this research is to find out whether it was an extensive phenomenon or the unique cases. Except of searching for such documents the research is also focusing on the linguistic analysis of these surnames.
