Práce interpretuje současnou religiozitu a je hermeneutikou nejen náboženských textů, ale i jiných znakových struktur. eng	On the New Pathways of Spirit. Survey and Analylsis of the New Religiosity	Detailed methodological consideration states that for religious studies description and comparition are not enough. It also interpretes phemomena of contemporary religiosity and i tis hermeneutics not only of religious texts but of other sign structures as well. For the secular study of religion it is advisable to combine informed empathy with critical theory. Author depicts the religious map of the contemporary world and intepreted demographic information. He is concerned with juridical aspects of religion in modern states. The book is focused on recent situation of traditional religious currents and also on the new religious movements. The author gives a detailed view of the streams which were disregarded by religious studies (e.g. anthroposophy, hermeticism). One chapter deals with the public fear od the so called „cults“ and it gives regard to the risks of repression of the religious minorities. In the final chapter charts new forms of inter-religious communication and cooperation.
