eng	Intercultural Communicative Competence – its development and assessment	The concept of Intercultural Communicative Competence as a core component of multicultural / intercultural education did go through a significant development and in the Czech context through some fundamental transformations as well. Nonetheless, opinions on the desirability of paying attention to multicultural / intercultural education differ as well as some theoretical agreement and conceptual clarity of the concept of Intercultural Communicative Competence itself since it stands on a basis which has not been precisely defined yet. Therefore, outcomes of the author’s meta-analysis of various models of the core concept will be presented, i.e. its definition as well as its domains and possible means of its evaluation.
