eng Woman in the preacher´s hands This miniature study focusing on correspondency of Pier Damiani, is planed to be an excursion in the process of creating the medieval femmale models and their exploitation at the large field of the Church-reform politics. Damiani´s letters, adressed to the devout widowes, speak about the social importance of Damiani´s support of the religious female comunities, about the models of living that he systematicaly offers to the pious women and to the society. The remarkable point of Damiani´s correspondency is the disparity of language he use and the difference of judgement of women´s manners he applies when wrtiting in the different social ranks.
