eng	UNREAL COMPARISONS IN CZECH AND IN GERMAN	The view of comparative sentences on the contrastive essentials. It is based on the issue what predication Czech comparative conjunctions ?as if? have in the German language. The investigated material consists of the work of Czech fiction authors of the end of the 20th century whose texts were translated into German, both on the basis of their own corpus and with the use of the Czech National Corpus. The aim of the research was to show how the mentioned expressions were translated and what equivalents are possible. Theoretical introduction, collecting material, its description, statistical analysis and evaluation provide an overall insight into this issue.
