eng	Hofmannsthal as Ibsen's reader	The presentation deals with Hofmannsthal's relationship to Ibsen's works. Hofmannsthal appreciated Ibsen's works, nevertheless with increasing age he considered it with increasing criticism and strong reservations. The presentation shows, in which points the concept of art and literature in Hofmannsthal's and Ibsen's works differ and tries to find out what factors could be attributed to this.
