Bavorsko-česká hranice budila dříve asociace jako boj, bitva, cizina, což bylo podmíněno především historickými událostmi. Její současné vnímání se ale změnilo k lepšímu a dnes jsou to pojmy jako sousedství, most, přeshraniční spolupráce. Staleté soužití těchto dvou národů podněcuje i spisovatele, skladatele nebo malíře k uměleckému ztvárnění tohoto tématu.
eng	Physical and Literary Bavarian-Czech Boundary	The Czechs besides the Slovenes have the westernmost border with German-speaking countries. Just in there, new neighbourhood in Central Europe is being developed. The Bavarian-Czech border used to give the associations as a fight, a battle, and a foreign country, which was particularly evoked by historical events. However, its current perception has been changed for the better and nowadays it associates concepts such as neighbourhood, a bridge and cross-border cooperation.
