Description:
Understanding the common cultural traditions of our region and the individual national cultures is almost impossible without cultural and linguistic mediation. Our network focuses on Central European cultural transfer from a Hungarological perspective. We aim to enhance cultural historical, philological, and translation skills through academic instruction, while also promoting the exchange of theoretical and methodological approaches to learning and teaching Central European cultural history and cultural transfer. A key objective is to foster cooperation among participating institutions by providing shared platforms for philological, translation, historical, and cultural education. This facilitates bidirectional knowledge and cultural competency exchange. In addition to strengthening philological knowledge, the network emphasizes cultural exchange and student interaction through joint workshops. The immersive environment provided by the partner institutions greatly supports this.
