Description:
The project focuses on providing comprehensive support for the research and presentation activities of students in the doctoral program in History. We will organize a series of colloquiums on ancient/early modern and modern/contemporary history with approximately fifteen to twenty guests from Czech and foreign institutions. We will provide financial support for the publishing activities of our doctoral students, as well as their domestic and foreign research. Doctoral students will also participate in the creation of our scientific journal Theatrum historiae. The majority of the funds will be distributed in the form of scholarships intended to support doctoral students' research trips abroad. The project will also involve talented students from the follow-up master's program in History who have the prerequisites for scientific or organizational work. We will support them in particular in the creation of their first professional studies, with which they could apply to the National Student Scientific Conference (CSVK). In 2026, the CSVK will be held in Opava.
