This research and teaching collaboration project researches the detective genre as well as the possibilities of teaching popular literature in English philology programs. It involves preparation of a proposal for a bilateral research grant project exploring contemporary themes in Anglo-American detective fiction. In addition, a workshop conducted by the Polish scholar with the literary and cultural section of the KAA department takes place. She will also teach seminars to undergraduate and graduate students on the issues related to popular genres.
