The project focuses on innovating compulsory and optional courses in the literature-cultural studies module of BA and MA study programmes English Language Teacher Education and Philology. Acquisition of the most up-to-date resources and the researchers´ participation at conferences will refresh teaching methods and materials in the field of English and American literature and culture, which will help the department´s academic growth. Sufficient quantity of contemporary study materials will provide students with access to the information on contemporary research in literature and cultural studies. Purchasing literature and modification of the respective study materials will take place in the summer term of the academic year 2017-18. Piloting the updated syllabi will be carried out in the winter term of 2018-2019. Student feedback will be continuously reflected in the materials to keep up the newly achieved standard.
