The course FIL1- Antique Philosophy will be innovated by changing the content and the teaching methods as well. A new syllabe will be created through the use of new literature and new interpretations. Apart from enlarging the perspective of possible understanding of ancient culture, the actualization of antique problems and culture will be stressed. E.g. texts falling within the political philosophy will be interpreted in the context of actual problems. With the help of new technologies the course will be illustrated by powerpoint presentation. Such presentations prepared by the teacher can enrich the course with illustrations, as seen on ceramics, wall paintings and other archaelogical sources.
