Description:
The research project aims at supporting the research, publications and presentation of the students at the Department of Philosophy. The planned activities correspond to their research interests and will further their development. They also correspond to the research profile of the department. The project outcomes include first the publications such as peer-reviewed papers and books registered in the "OBD" database. Second, they include the talks at conferences and workshops where the students will train their presentation skills. Extra scholarships will be used to cover the doctoral students' teaching on the bachelor level. The resources will also fund the faculty peer-reviewed journal Pantheon that forms one of the publication platforms of the research team. Three supervisors are planning to give presentations at prestigious international conferences. Other funds will be used to cover the costs of the invited lectures given by researchers from other universities. The students together with the research team will organize one national graduate conference and one philosophy course ?in the mountains? (Horní Maršov). Further fund will be used to subsidize the graduate student tutors who participate in the tutorial course for the first year students.
